Sent By The Spirit To Panama
In English, He is the Holy Spirit. In Spanish, Espíritu Santo. In French, Saint-Esprit—the name our family happens to carry. We didn’t choose the name, but we believe the One it points to has chosen us: called by the Holy Spirit to go to the nations and share the Gospel.
We’re the St. Esprits—Cory, Abigail, and our four kids. For eight years, we’ve served part-time in Panama, watching God do something remarkable through Palabra de Vida (Word of Life: Panama): hundreds of teenagers coming to Christ every year, many from indigenous communities with few opportunities, and growing into disciples and ministry leaders.

Now God is calling us to go all in.
In January 2027, our family is moving to Panama full-time. Cory will serve as Director of Operations at PDV’s 100+ acre camp in Chame and facilities in Panama City—overseeing finances, staff, and capital expansions that will increase the camp’s size with schooling facilities, a farm and horse program, sports fields, and more. Every year, over 1,000 kids experience a life-changing week at this camp. The vision is to reach even more.
For two decades, God has been connecting dots we didn’t know existed—through youth ministry, camp leadership, community development, nonprofit work, and business—preparing our family for exactly this. We’d love for you to be part of the story: praying with us, journeying with us, and helping reach Panama’s next generation for Christ.
